Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic K-12 educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a contract opportunity located near Humble, TX, designed for passionate professionals ready to collaborate with educators, families, and students.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Successful experience or strong interest in K-12 schools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, staff, and parents Ability to perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop effective treatment plans Organizational skills to manage caseloads, documentation, and schedule interventions
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapeutic services to K-12 students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders Conduct evaluations, document findings, and create individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with special education teams, classroom teachers, and families to support each student's needs Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required reports in compliance with school and state policies This role offers the chance to build strong connections with students and staff, helping shape positive outcomes throughout the academic year.
