Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a positive impact on K-8th grade students as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Hutto, TX. Multiple full-time roles are available for the 2026-2027 academic year, offering the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative support team—including onsite SLPAs—and help students thrive. The director is ready to schedule interviews this week, so timely applicants will be prioritized.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active SLP-CCC credential, Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates, and SLPAs welcome Previous experience in pediatric or school-based settings is preferred Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy services to K-8th grade students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Utilize evidence-based practices for speech, language, and communication disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary school teams Supervise and support onsite SLPAs to deliver comprehensive services Maintain records and prepare reports in accordance with school and federal guidelines Conduct therapy both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
