PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Independent Contractor Mantra Speech Therapy Irving, TX Job Details Part-time | PRN $80 - $84 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Pediatrics Communication Sciences & Disorders Liability insurance Full Job Description Mantra Speech Therapy, PLLC is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing private practice as a part-time independent contractor. This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking to add a small, flexible caseload alongside another position. The caseload will start small, approximately 2-4 clients , with the opportunity to grow based on your availability and interest.
Pay:
$80-$84 per hour of direct treatment time Compensation is $40-$42 per completed 30-minute treatment session , based on experience. Position Details Independent contractor (1099) position PRN/part-time Approximately 4-6 sessions per week to start , with potential to grow Minimum availability of approximately 4 recurring treatment sessions per week once caseload is established Primarily in-person services in the Irving/Las Colinas area Additional opportunities may be available in nearby areas including Valley Ranch, Coppell, Carrollton, and Farmers Branch Telehealth opportunities may also be available when appropriate Flexible scheduling Afternoon availability is especially helpful Responsibilities Provide individualized speech and language therapy to pediatric clients Complete treatment documentation in a timely manner Develop and update treatment goals and plans as appropriate Monitor client progress and make treatment recommendations Communicate professionally with parents, caregivers, schools, and the practice owner Provide caregiver education and home recommendations as appropriate Complete evaluations when mutually agreed upon and appropriate for the clinician's caseload Maintain professional, ethical, and confidential clinical practices Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Professional liability insurance Strong communication and documentation skills Reliable transportation for in-person clients Experience working with pediatric clients preferred Comfortable working independently while maintaining communication with the practice owner About Mantra Speech Therapy Mantra Speech Therapy is a clinician-owned private speech therapy practice providing individualized speech, language, and communication services.
