What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Desired Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Willingness to relocate for the assignment Eligible for or current Texas SLP licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start) Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Enthusiasm for learning and openness to mentorship during CFY Schools experience preferred but not requiredKey Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic intervention to students with speech/language needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student care plans Receive ongoing, accessible supervision throughout yourClinical Fellowship Year Top Benefits Include:
