Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A fulfilling part-time opportunity awaits a Speech-Language Pathologist passionate about helping young learners achieve their communication goals. This contract-based role focuses on providing high-quality speech therapy to private school and homeschooled children, delivered at a local elementary campus. The assignment runs from early August to early June, making it ideal for professionals seeking a consistent yet manageable schedule throughout the academic year. The caseload typically includes about seven students, with most therapy sessions focused on articulation needs for elementary-aged children. Students are seen individually or in small groups of two, ensuring personalized attention and support. Sessions are generally scheduled on eight Wednesdays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm during the fall semester, followed by 8-10 Wednesdays in the spring—however, there is flexibility to accommodate the right candidate's schedule.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Experience with school-aged children, preferably in articulation and early intervention Strong documentation, lesson planning, and progress monitoring skills Ability to collaborate with families and educational team membersKey Responsibilities:
