Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students from kindergarten through twelfth grade in a welcoming school community. This contract position offers a stable, full-time schedule—37.5 hours across 5 days per week—providing an excellent opportunity to engage with learners of varying ages and needs. Ideal candidates for this role hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist credential for the state of Texas, with CCC and school-based experience preferred. Your skills will help empower students to find their voices, overcome communication barriers, and achieve academic success. Qualifications & Experience Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas (CCC preferred) Prior experience in school settings working with K-12 students Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, and deliver individualized therapy Committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment Core Responsibilities Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students Assess, diagnose, and develop plans of care for diverse communication needs Collaborate regularly with teachers, families, and other professionals to support student progress Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings, assist with goal setting, and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team If you're driven to enhance student success and thrive in a collaborative school environment, this role is an excellent fit.
