What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Compensation:
Up to $87,500 annuallyAvailable Positions:
3 elementary SLP positions in West Katy 1 middle school SLP position in West Katy 2 SLP positions to provide maternity leave coverage for the Spring semester (January 5, 2027 - May 26, 2027)Position Details:
Stable caseload with services provided during school hours Public school experience preferred Pediatric experience required All positions are on-site All positions are 1099Qualifications:
Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license Possession of, or willingness to obtain, up-to-date clearances Proof of individual professional liability insurance, or willingness to obtainSpeech-Language Pathologist Responsibilities May Include:
Addressing personal, social, emotional, academic, and vocational needs which impact educational goals Providing push-in support in classrooms Performing evaluations and providing appropriate goals for students that require speech/language therapy. Providing continued support for students' Individual Education Programs (IEPs). Maintaining appropriate records and documentation. Developing and implementing IEPs Performing all related work, documentation, and reporting as required.
