Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services within a school setting located in La Porte, TX. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students, supporting their communication development through virtual platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations via telepractice methods. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Provide virtual speech therapy sessions ensuring engagement and progress. Collaborate with educators and parents to support student communication goals. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school policies. Ensure compliance with all relevant guidelines and confidentiality regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification. Experience in telespeech services within educational environments. Strong understanding of speech and language development in children. Proficiency using telepractice platforms and related technology. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills suitable for virtual interaction. Ability to adapt therapy techniques for online delivery effectively.
