Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity working with students for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist. In this dynamic role, you'll have the chance to make a positive difference in students' lives while developing your professional expertise alongside a supportive team of educators and specialists.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Active SLP license (Clinical Fellowship Year and Certificate of Clinical Competence holders welcome!) Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred Bilingual skills highly desirable Familiarity with conducting evaluations, delivering direct therapy, and participating in ARD meetings Ability to provide effective supervision and mentorship to SLP Assistants (SLPAs) Strong organizational and communication skills Passion for collaborative teamwork and inclusive education
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech therapy services to students per their individualized education programs Manage a diverse student caseload, tracking progress and maintaining thorough documentation Complete initial and ongoing assessments and evaluations Participate actively in ARD meetings and contribute to IEP planning and goal-setting Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants to uphold quality standards Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for all students Imagine a role where your expertise empowers students to communicate confidently and succeed academically.
