School Speech Language Pathologist - Lewisville, Texas Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Lewisville, TX Job Details Contract 6 days ago Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding summer opportunity delivering vital speech-language services to students in a school setting. This flexible, contract position is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required) ready to make a positive difference during summer compensatory services. With district needs still being finalized, we're seeking proactive candidates interested in being at the top of the list when positions open.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Active SLP license for the state of Texas Experience in school settings strongly preferred Comfortable and flexible working with students of any grade level Ability to work onsite as needed (remote/voco positions unavailable) Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Adaptable to varying caseloads and schedules
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver compensatory speech-language services across multiple grade levels, as determined by district need Utilize evidence-based practices to assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans Document progress and maintain thorough records for each student Collaborate with educators and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes Remain flexible with on-site assignment locations within the district as needed
What You Can Anticipate:
This is a contract assignment for summer school sessions on the following dates: 6/16-6/18, 6/23-6/25, 7/7-7/9, and 7/14-7/16 (Tuesday through Thursday schedule). Hours and caseloads will vary and are expected to be determined as the district finalizes student needs. Multiple positions are projected.
