Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist to provide dedicated services during the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role supports students at two sites, serving approximately 30 elementary-aged children with speech and language needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a direct impact in a school environment and thrives in bilingual settings.
Key Qualifications:
Active Texas SLP License required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Bilingual in Spanish and English (required) Previous school-based experience valued Experience with elementary-aged populations beneficial Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities Reliable transportation to commute between sites
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language evaluations, therapy, and support for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students across two neighboring school locations Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective interventions Participate in team meetings and provide consultative guidance as needed Maintain clear, accurate records of services and student progress
