Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering speech and language services to a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students. Work within a dynamic educational environment, collaborating closely with teachers, special education professionals, administrators, and families.
Key Qualifications:
Active and current Texas SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred Previous experience in a school-based setting is beneficial Experience working with middle school-aged students highly valued Strong ability to conduct speech and language evaluations, develop IEP goals, and provide both direct and consultative services Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage a full-time, onsite caseload of approximately 50 middle school students Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals Offer engaging, evidence-based direct and indirect therapy services Maintain thorough and timely documentation Partner with educational staff, administrators, and families to support student success This position starts August 4, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027, with a full-time schedule (40 hours per week).
