Essential Qualifications:

Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License for the state of Texas ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in school-based speech-language therapy settings, ideally with high school students Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, special education teams, administrators, and families

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough speech and language evaluations and assessments Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Provide both direct and indirect speech-language services to students Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines Communicate progress with staff, families, and students, fostering a team approach to student success This school-based role features a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, providing stability during the academic year.
