In this role, you will bring enthusiasm and a compassionate approach to providing exceptional speech and language therapy services. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention assessments. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, utilizing evidence-based techniques. Deliver engaging therapy sessions via in-person or telehealth formats, ensuring patient comfort and active participation. Collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to support patient progress and facilitate effective communication strategies. Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment plans within EMR/EHR systems. Educate families and caregivers on speech-language development milestones, exercises, and home programs to reinforce therapy goals. Stay current with advances in speech-language pathology, physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and telehealth practices to enhance service quality. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program. Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the relevant jurisdiction. Experience working with children in pediatrics or early intervention settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of speech-language pathology techniques for individuals with disabilities or speech impairments. Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy related to speech and swallowing functions. Proven ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop effective therapy plans for diverse populations including geriatric patients when applicable. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems and telehealth platforms for remote therapy delivery. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
