Key Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Texas SLP license or eligibility for licensure Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Core Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy services to students based on their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct comprehensive assessments and document evaluation results Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to support student progress Develop targeted intervention plans and regularly monitor outcomes Participate in IEP meetings, develop goals, and maintain accurate records Offer guidance and resources to staff and parents to assist with generalization of skills Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices
