Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Take your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging contract role supporting students in a dynamic educational environment. This opportunity invites you to contribute your skills and passion for helping children achieve communication milestones, making a meaningful difference every day. You'll work alongside a supportive team of professionals, utilizing your SLP-CCC credentials to provide high-quality services and interventions.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Familiarity with best practices in assessment and individualized education program (IEP) development
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing to student IEPs and progress reviews Document and report on student progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines Provide resources and strategies to teachers and parents to support student communication needs Engage in professional development and stay updated on current trends in speech-language pathology
