Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a vital role supporting students as a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist in a collaborative school setting. This full-time contract opportunity is perfect for clinicians who are passionate about making a meaningful difference while expanding their expertise. You'll work closely with a diverse caseload, providing essential speech and language services from August through the end of the academic year. Both experienced SLPs (CCC) and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply—your bilingual skills in Spanish are essential for this impactful position.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible Texas SLP license; open to strong new graduates pursuing their CFY Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) a plus but not required Bilingual fluency in Spanish required Previous experience with school-based caseloads (preferred, not mandatory) Excellent communication and teamwork abilitiesResponsibilities:
Provide evaluations, therapy, and documentation for a caseload of approximately 40-45 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Maintain timely and thorough records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and consult on best practices for bilingual learners In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work regular school hours, establish meaningful connections, and support academic and social development for bilingual students.
