Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding full-time contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade for the 2026-2027 school year. Make a meaningful impact in the educational journey of children and adolescents while collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals invested in fostering student growth and communication success.
Key Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant studies or a related field Valid SLPA licensure in Texas or eligibility to obtain before start date Previous work in a school, pediatric, or similar educational setting preferred Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach Ability to work effectively under the supervision of licensedSpeech-Language Pathologists Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to K-12 students as assigned Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure integrated care in the academic environment Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and document student progress Prepare engaging therapy materials tailored to students' developmental levels and communication goals Maintain accurate records and contribute to data collection and progress reporting Support and participate in parent meetings and interdisciplinary team discussionsBenefits:
