School Speech Language Pathologist

  • Full-time Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required.

This position focuses on providing skilled speech-language therapy services to children from early childhood through first grade. Your expertise will be vital in helping students develop essential communication skills, working primarily with articulation, language, and pragmatic needs across a manageable caseload of 35-40 students.
Key Qualifications:
Active Texas SLP license required Experience with ECSE and early elementary populations preferred Open to strong SLPAs and CFs—excellent supervision available (can supervise one SLPA) No requirement for bilingual skills Ability to collaborate with school staff and families to support student success
Role Highlights:
Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy for students in ECSE through first grade Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized plans tailored to student needs Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state guidelines Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP development Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment for all students
