A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Qualifications:
Active Texas Speech-Language Pathology license required; Florida licensure accepted. Experience with middle or high school populations preferred. Willingness to perform the full range of SLP duties (therapy, ARDS, assessments), or provide supervision only if that is your preference. Ability to complete required district fingerprinting (existing prints may be accepted). Strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of 50-60 students in grades 6-8 and/or 10-12. Deliver direct speech-language therapy and conduct assessments. Participate in ARD committees and contribute to individualized educational plans. Optionally, provide clinical supervision as needed. Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and family engagement.
