Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school located in Salado, TX is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position starting ASAP through May 21, with the potential for renewal for the 2026-2027 school year. This role will primarily support PreK-2nd grade students, with some middle school students on caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and state regulations. Participate in meetings and provide ongoing communication regarding student progress.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP preferred). Experience working with pediatric populations in school settings. Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome to apply. Understanding of child development and communication disorders for early childhood and middle school students. Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population.
