Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic school-based opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a meaningful impact in the lives of students. This full-time position is available in a supportive educational setting near San Marcos, TX, with two openings for dedicated professionals who thrive in collaborative environments. Enjoy a 37.5-hour week in a contract role where your skills and expertise will help students reach their communication goals.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Valid SLP license in the state of Texas, or eligibility to obtain Prior experience in a school setting is highly valued Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities Passion for fostering student growth and collaboration with other education professionals
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy to a diverse student population Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with families and multidisciplinary teams Offer insight and support to teachers and staff regarding speech and language interventions Participate actively in IEP meetings, strategy sessions, and school-related activities as needed This role is ideal for someone who enjoys making a difference each day, values a stable full-time schedule, and thrives within school environments.
