Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the classroom by providing essential speech and language services to students. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support a diverse community while furthering your expertise in a collaborative, enriching educational setting. Two openings are available to cover leave periods for the upcoming school year. Step into a supportive environment where your contributions will foster communication growth and student success.
Assignment Details:
Two full-time positions available, each with distinct assignment dates: 8/10/26-11/2/26 (13 weeks) and 8/12/26-10/2/26 (8 weeks) 37.5 hours per week in a school-based setting
Qualifications:
Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant Experience providing speech/language therapy within a school environment is preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with fellow educators, support staff, and families Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Dedication to supporting students with diverse communication needs
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication challenges Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) Work closely with teachers, administrators, and family members to maximize student progress Conduct progress monitoring and maintain accurate records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, provide consultative support, and contribute to a positive, student-focused school culture Perks of the
