Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students during a key maternity leave period for the first 9 weeks of the school year. This on-site position is based near Schertz, TX, with assignments at two schools, and is perfect for those who thrive in dynamic environments helping school-aged children reach their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech Language Pathologist (CCC) certification with an active professional license Experience or strong interest in school-based speech services Bilingual communication skills preferred Ability to supervise a bilingual SLPA Must be able to complete fingerprinting and background check as part of credentialing Flexibility to attend a prescreen interview (available weekdays between 9-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. EST; other times can be arranged)
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy in two school settings, providing both direct and consultative services Supervise and support a bilingual SLPA Develop, implement, and document individualized therapy plans following district guidelines Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to optimize student success Maintain timely, accurate progress records and reports
