Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Discover an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of junior and high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role begins August 10, 2026, and runs through May 28, 2027. You will collaborate closely with students, school staff, and families to empower communication and foster educational success.
Qualifications:
Active Texas SLP License required Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates as well as those with CCCs Experience or genuine interest in working with junior and high school age groups preferred Background in pediatric and school-based speech-language therapy strongly valued Professional organizational and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services to a caseload of approximately 40 students Supervise walk-in therapy students as needed Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Deliver direct therapy individually and in groups, tailored to each student's unique needs Participate in all required school or district meetings and professional development This position offers a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours over five days each week, allowing you to make a lasting impact while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
