Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Exciting opportunities are on the horizon for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) interested in school-based roles for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are actively seeking passionate SLP and SLPA professionals interested in supporting students' communication needs in an educational setting near Spring, TX. Please note that this is an early candidate interest request for upcoming openings—not an official job order at this time. Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications: Valid Texas SLP or SLPA license (documentation required) Prior experience working in school-based speech therapy Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary educational teams Strong understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with various caseloads On-site availability for in-person services throughout the school year Primary responsibilities will include: Conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapy for students with speech and language disorders Coordinating with educators, parents, and support staff to optimize student progress Maintaining accurate and timely records in compliance with district and state guidelines Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to student support strategies When submitting your interest, please include: Full name and current zip code/location Five key points highlighting your relevant experience, including school-based work settings Overview of prior experience as an SLP or SLPA (mention school/district environments) Confirmation of reliable transportation and any anticipated scheduling conflicts Your current employment status, availability for a start date and interviews, and previous experience within the district (if applicable) Ability to complete HISD fingerprinting within three days of signing a contract Up-to-date resume and screenshot of your Texas
