Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active or eligibility for Speech-Language Pathology licensure SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY considered—both seasoned experts and recent graduates welcome Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is highly valued Familiarity with developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and working within multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organizational, and documentation abilities Motivated to help students reach their fullest communication potential
Primary Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in school-aged children Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in collaboration with educators and families Document sessions, monitor student progress, and participate in IEP meetings as needed Utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions and therapy tools tailored to each student's needs Support students both one-on-one and in group settings, fostering an inclusive, positive environment for growth This role provides the chance to make a difference in the lives of students while gaining invaluable experience in an educational framework.
