Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-2027 school year as a skilled speech-language pathologist. In this flexible school-based position, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' communication skills and educational success. Bilingual candidates are especially encouraged to apply, as your expertise will serve a diverse student community.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Previous experience in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of Texas educational guidelines for SLPs Bilingual proficiency highly preferred Ability to supervise and guide Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage a balanced caseload of students, delivering individualized speech and language therapy Conduct ARD (Admission, Review, and Dismissal) meetings and perform comprehensive evaluations Create and implement evidence-based therapy plans tailored to each student's needs Supervise SLPAs to ensure high-quality therapy and adherence to best practices Maintain accurate records of student progress and therapy services as required by school procedures Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster a supportive environment for student growth This contract role provides a meaningful opportunity to make a difference in students' lives while gaining valuable school-based experience.
