Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a dynamic school setting near Temple, TX.
Two positions are available:
one in Bartlett, covering the district with a caseload of approximately 40 students spanning elementary life skills and middle/high school general education speech; the other in Troy, focused on a general education student population across the entire district on a full-time basis. These roles offer the chance to make a tangible impact on the lives of children and adolescents, providing comprehensive speech and language services. Both districts welcome Clinical Fellows (CFs) and offer dedicated supervision, providing an ideal environment for early-career Speech-Language Pathologists as well as those with their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). You'll collaborate with supportive educational teams and families, fostering communication growth in pediatric populations with diverse needs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Texas SLP license
ASHA CCC
required for independent practice; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply (supervision provided) Experience or strong interest in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings Passion for supporting general education and life skills students Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
