Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a pivotal role supporting primary and elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist in a dynamic educational environment near Tomball, TX. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about facilitating the communication development of young learners in a collaborative school setting. Working across several campuses, you will supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), complete thorough speech-language evaluations, and facilitate ARD meetings, making a positive impact without a direct therapy focus.
Key Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Texas Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Proven ability to supervise SLPAs effectively Excellent skills in conducting comprehensive speech-language evaluations Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Role Responsibilities:
Provide supervision to assigned SLPAs on designated primary and elementary campuses Conduct and complete all required speech-language assessments and evaluations Lead and participate in ARD meetings to support student needs and compliance Maintain clear and timely documentation for assessments and supervision Coordinate with educational staff and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success Adhere to all applicable legal, ethical, and professional standards This contract offers the opportunity to foster language development, support inclusive education, and collaborate with both educators and families.
