Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication development in a school-based environment near Von Ormy, TX. This full-time contract position spans the 2026-2027 academic year and centers on providing speech-language pathology services to a diverse caseload at the middle school level. Candidates considered for this opportunity should have the following qualifications: Valid and active SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working in school settings, preferably with middle school students Familiarity with implementing IEPs and progress monitoring Bilingual abilities are preferred but not required In this role, you will: Provide speech and language evaluations and therapeutic services to middle school students Collaborate closely with educators, special education staff, and families to design effective intervention plans Participate in IEP meetings, data collection, and documentation for compliance Adapt therapy strategies to meet individual student needs and cultural backgrounds Contribute to professional development and in-service training as appropriate
