Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students' communication needs within a dynamic middle school environment. This full-time role begins August 11, 2026, and extends through May 21, 2027, offering a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week. You'll play a crucial part in advancing speech-language services for the school community, with a particular focus on collaboration and patient-centered care.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred Experience with school-based caseloads and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Bilingual abilities highly valued, though not mandatory Previous work in middle school settings is an advantage High standard of professionalism and ability to engage with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to a full-time caseload within a supportive school setting Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of communication challenges Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to create and implement effective interventions Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school policies and relevant regulations Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and supporting students' learning outcomes Offer consultative support to school teams to foster inclusive classroom environments
