Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. This contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to serve students in grades K-12 near Waller, TX. You'll work within a supportive school environment, collaborating with educators and families to empower learners with the skills they need to thrive.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active SLP licensure in Texas is required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status welcomed Strong foundation in pediatric speech-language therapy Prior experience delivering services in a school setting preferred Commitment to fostering student growth and collaborating across disciplines Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide screening, evaluation, and individual or group therapy for students with a range of speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement IEP goals, monitor student progress, and maintain accurate records Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support individualized student plans Offer consultation and training to staff on strategies and best practices for supporting communication development Serve students across kindergarten through high school (K-12) Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as district policies
