Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication growth within school settings in the Weatherford, TX area! Speech-Language Pathologists with CCC certification have a wonderful opportunity to provide high-quality language and speech services, as part of a dedicated educational team. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in children's lives while working in an engaging and supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school-based SLP role preferred but not required Solid understanding of IEPs, speech-language assessments, and intervention plans Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans for students with speech and language needs Deliver direct therapy services (individual and group) in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to promote student success Maintain thorough documentation on student progress and services provided Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary student support teams Offer consultative support and training to educators and staff as needed
