Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact working within a supportive educational environment as a Speech-Language Pathologist on a contract basis. This opportunity places you at the heart of collaboration, providing speech and language services to students who benefit greatly from your clinical expertise. Whether you hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or are pursuing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your work will change lives every day.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Texas SLP license or eligibility ASHA CCCs preferred; open to strong CFY candidates Prior experience in a school setting is advantageous, though not mandatory Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Passion for working with children and empowering diverse learners
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and deliver therapy services to students Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to maximize student progress Maintain accurate documentation and track service delivery Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team activities, and ongoing professional development Adapt therapy methods to meet students' unique needs and foster communication skills in inclusive settings This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally within a dynamic school community.
