Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role supporting students by providing speech-language services in an educational setting. This contract opportunity offers the chance to work closely with a diverse student population, fostering communication skills and academic growth for the 2026-2027 school year. With a flexible, part-time schedule of just 10 hours per week, you can make a meaningful contribution while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school setting is preferred Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach with educators and families Ability to independently manage a caseload and maintain documentation in accordance with school district and regulatory requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement evidence-based speech-language interventions Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student needs Track progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to promote each student's communication goals Provide both direct and consultative services, including participation in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences Maintain accurate and timely records according to school and regulatory standards Foster a supportive, inclusive environment for students of varying backgrounds and abilities Enjoy the benefits of a professional setting that values flexibility—the 10 hour/week schedule is adaptable to your preferred days, allowing for autonomy while working the full school year.
