A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our small, welcoming private practice. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech, language, communication, and swallowing evaluations as appropriate. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based therapy for speech sound disorders, language disorders, fluency, voice, AAC, cognitive-communication, and swallowing needs. Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using EMR/EHR systems. Support early intervention and developmental needs in pediatric clients. Participate in care coordination and multidisciplinary collaboration when appropriate. Provide telehealth services when appropriate and desired. Maintain a warm, engaging, and respectful therapy environment. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility. Experience working with pediatric populations; experience with adults is a plus. Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills. Ability to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive clinical team.
