Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for a full school year with a K-12 caseload in Ashburn, VA. This contract role offers the opportunity to support students across all grade levels in a dynamic school setting, delivering specialized speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide evidence-based therapy services to students with communication disorders across K-12. Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations. Utilize teletherapy methods as appropriate to deliver remote services.Desired Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility to practice in school settings. Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred, with experience in pediatric and school-based populations. Proficiency in teletherapy techniques and healthcare-related speech-language interventions. Strong knowledge of pediatric communication disorders, assessment tools, and therapy approaches. Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with students, families, and staff.Location:
