Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an exciting opportunity supporting students' communication needs in a vibrant year-round educational and clinic setting near Ashburn, VA. As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), you'll be instrumental in empowering children to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP-CCC credentials and active state licensure Experience providing speech and language therapy in school settings preferred Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Exceptional organizational, communication, and documentation skills Passion for working with diverse student populations
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each child's needs Deliver evidence-based therapy to address a variety of communication disorders in both individual and group settings Serve as a resource for educators and families, providing guidance for in-class supports and home strategies Maintain timely, precise records in accordance with school and clinic policies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create a positive learning environment Participate in ongoing professional development and school activities
