Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing Speech-Language Pathology services in an engaging educational setting near Winchester, VA. This position offers the chance to work alongside passionate educators and make a meaningful difference in students' communication development. The assignment begins July 27th, 2026, and concludes May 28th, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current Virginia SLP license (required for consideration) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligible Clinical Fellows (CFY welcomed) Experience providing evaluation, consultation, and therapy services within a school environment is strongly preferred Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and engage with students at varying developmental levels Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Commitment to onsite service delivery; remote candidates cannot be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy across a diverse caseload of students Conduct evaluations and assessments to develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and monitor progress Provide direct and consultative services, collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families Maintain thorough records and participate in IEP meetings Implement evidence-based therapy techniques while adapting to each student's unique needs Support school initiatives that promote effective communication skills in students Discover a contract assignment that blends professional growth with personal fulfillment.
