Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a meaningful opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist supporting students across K-12 grade levels. This contract position, running from August 12, 2025, through May 22, 2026, offers an engaging onsite environment with 37.5 hours of work per week and several openings available. Make a positive difference collaborating with educational teams to empower students' communication success.
Key Qualifications:
Active Virginia Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license required Experience providing services within a school-based setting preferred Ability to manage diverse caseloads from kindergarten through high school Strong communication, collaborative, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy sessions to assigned K-12 students in accordance with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions Conduct assessments to identify students' speech and language needs Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and service delivery Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning Utilize evidence-based practices to support student growth
