Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Buena Vista, VA | 2026-2027 School Year A supportive school district in Buena Vista, VA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year, including ESY coverage. This role offers a manageable caseload and strong school-based collaboration.

Position Details:

Full-time:

35-40 hours per week

Start Date:

July 1, 2026 (includes ESY services) Full school year: 2026-2027

Caseload:

~30 students across grade levels

Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and assessments for speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy services Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families Support communication development across educational settings

Qualifications:

Virginia SLP license (or ability to obtain) School-based experience preferred
