Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide essential support to elementary-aged students for the 2026-2027 school year in an in-person, full-time capacity located in Callao, VA.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students. Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff. Deliver direct therapy services and provide classroom-based support when appropriate. Maintain accurate documentation and progress records in compliance with state and federal guidelines. Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Valid Virginia SLP license or eligibility to obtain. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with elementary-aged students is beneficial. Knowledge of current assessment tools, therapy techniques, and educational regulations.

This role is based in Callao, VA, supporting an elementary school caseload during the school year.
