Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in schools as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your CCC certification! This contract opportunity near Chesapeake, VA places you in a supportive educational environment where you'll provide valuable communication and language support to students across multiple grade levels. What we're seeking: Current Speech-Language Pathologist license (Virginia) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Prior experience in school settings preferred, but strong clinical skills considered Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities Passion for helping students achieve their academic and functional goals Key responsibilities: Deliver speech, language, and communication therapy for students per Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct assessments and evaluations, documenting findings and progress Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective interventions Contribute to IEP meetings and share expertise with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and district policies Foster an encouraging, inclusive environment that builds student confidence Stepping into this role, you'll find unique opportunities for professional development, support from dedicated colleagues, and the fulfillment of guiding young learners to success.
