Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational environment this school year, supporting elementary students as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required Valid state licensure for Speech-Language Pathology Previous experience in a school-based SLP role strongly preferred Familiarity with
IDEA, IEP
processes, and best practices in school settings Outstanding communication and collaboration skills Passion for working with elementary-age students
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and evaluate students for speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for a caseload of 20 elementary students Deliver direct therapy services, monitor progress, and adjust treatment as needed Collaborate with educational teams and families to support student success Maintain thorough and timely records in accordance with district and state guidelines Provide recommendations for classroom strategies to facilitate communication development The contract spans from August 10, 2026, to May 20, 2027, averaging 37.5 hours per week—ensuring you have structure and consistency throughout the school year.
