Job Description
Pediatric Therapies, Inc. is accepting applicants for SLP, CF-SLP, and SLPA in-person, school-based positions for the upcoming school year 2026-2027 in the Danville area. We are also seeking SLPA supervisors (part-time or full-time). Paid drive time assistance is offered to therapists outside of the Danville area. We are a local to Chesterfield, VA contract company providing SLP, OT, PT and school psychology services to 15 school districts in VA spanning from Chesterfield down to the NC border. The local business allows us to gather as a team and be a part of the community. We maintain close-knit, long-term friendships with the therapists on our team, celebrating birthdays and other special events. Through clear and open communication with administrators in the counties we serve, longstanding contracts are maintained for 35 years or more. We provide therapy services (OT, PT, SLP, SP) to students within the public school system setting in the Southside and Central Region of VA. Currently, we provide therapy service to 15 school districts surrounding Richmond, VA. At the school they will serve, the owner of the business for the past 20 years, an OT, meets each therapist (who is new to the team) at school their first week to assist with orientation. You will be supported by our amazing group administrator who stays in close touch with the team.Speech Language Pathologist Qualifications, Education and Experience:
SLPs must possess a Master's Degree in speech-language pathology. We are accepting CF and SLPA applicants who plan to graduate in May or August. Current VA license in school speech-language pathology issued by the Virginia Board of Examiners for Audiology and Speech-language pathology (or plan to graduate from an accredited program in May). SLPAs must graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in communication sciences and disorders (or due to graduate in December). We are looking for a caring, energetic, positive, friendly, enthusiastic applicant who loves working with kids and is passionate about the field of speech language pathology.
