Job Description

A contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide teletherapy services within an educational setting. These assignments support students from diverse age groups in Stafford County, VA, delivering remote speech-language services that promote communication development and academic success.
Assignment Details:
Full-time positions offering 37.5 hours per week. Multiple openings to cover various needs including maternity leave coverage, replacement for a resigning SLP, and immediate coverage due to delays in service provision. Start dates and assignment durations vary, with anticipated roles starting between October and November 2026 through the end of the school year in May 2027. Positions require active Virginia SLP licensure and adherence to district credentialing procedures, including background checks for virtual service providers.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting teletherapy sessions to assess and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students. Developing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with educators and families to support student progress. Maintaining accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student outcomes in compliance with district and state requirements. Participating in professional development and virtual team meetings as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
Active license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Virginia. Experience providing teletherapy services in school settings. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently within a remote therapy framework.

This role supports schools in Stafford County, Virginia, with virtual service delivery based in Dumfries, VA.
