Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for a full school year in Falls Church, VA, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade. This role involves working with a diverse K-12 caseload in a school setting, utilizing skills in pediatric speech-language therapy and teletherapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy to K-12 students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student communication goals Deliver teletherapy sessions as needed, ensuring accessibility and engagement Maintain detailed documentation and compliance with school and healthcare standards Support students through all phases of the speech-language pathology process, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience in pediatric speech therapy and healthcare-related settings preferred Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload across the full spectrum of K-12 education levels Commitment to working within a school environment and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
Location:
Falls Church, VA - onsite within a school setting with potential for teletherapy sessions.
