Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting student communication and academic success as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming school year. This contract position serves school locations in the Winchester, VA area, starting July 27th, 2026 and extending through May 28th, 2027. The role is designed for dedicated SLPs who are passionate about enriching the lives of young learners in a collaborative educational setting.
Qualifications & Experience:
Hold an active Virginia SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered Previous experience in school settings is desirable Deep understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders in children Comfortable working onsite and delivering in-person services Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students with varying needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEP goals Conduct assessments, compile reports, and track student progress Provide evidence-based intervention to help students achieve academic and functional communication success Support and guide students across elementary through high school levels, as needed
