Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Become an integral part of a dedicated educational team as a Speech-Language Pathologist, making a positive impact on students near Madison Heights, VA. This contract opportunity offers the chance to support children and school-aged students in their communication development while collaborating with passionate professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments of students with speech and language disorders Design and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans Lead therapy sessions focused on meaningful, measurable speech and language objectives Carefully document student progress and adjust interventions as needed Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide cohesive, student-centered care Engage and educate families, empowering them to support the therapy process Maintain effective communication with staff, families, and administration
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state license or eligibility for state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Experience in school-based or pediatric settings highly valued Strong ability to balance independent work and teamwork Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Requirements:
